Keep investigations on track with an enforced procedure for progressing cases
Case Status Alerts
As a case progresses through each stage, appropriate reviews and approvals, triggered by alerts and reminders, keep the investigation moving forward.
Managers can be alerted that a new case is awaiting assignment, prompting them to go in and assign responsibility. Assigning an investigator is a one-click process.
A case may go through several status changes as the investigation progresses from new, through open to closed. As stages are reached within each status an approval or review may be required to move the case to the next stage.
For example, i-Sight can be configured to alert a supervisor, manager or attorney that a case needs to be reviewed or approved as soon as the investigator has created the case report. The reviewer can add comments and either request more steps, or approve it to update the status.
Every organization has its own parameters for case progress. Your intake procedure, for example, could be as simple as receiving a complaint and pushing it into a queue for investigation, or it could involves a multi-step process of assessment, triage and assignment.
