Investigations involve many people, from lawyers, outside law enforcement and government regulators to corporate entities, employees, subjects and witnesses. i-Sight makes contact management easy by enabling investigators to quickly add parties to a case file, keeping an organized record of everyone involved in the investigation. These parties can be entered manually or copied from other case files using a simple contact search.

Each party or entity in a case file can be configured with different fields and data elements so that the relevant information is recorded, no matter the type of involvement. And individual contacts can be granted different levels of access to the case file information, when necessary.

You decide what complaint information is captured on intake and i-Sight will queue the complaint according to the criteria you specify. The data you capture on intake depends on your corporate structure and the type of reporting you want to do. You can capture investigation data related to:
- case type
- case category (including nested sub-categories)
- incident date
- allegation type
- intake channel (ie, email, hotline, web-form)
Add a New Case by Sending an Email
Investigative teams operating without a case management system often use email as their primary means of communication. Employees or local HR staff send emails to a central folder or location where they can be accessed for triage. These emails can be redirected to i-Sight to generate a case automatically.
